Invitation for a second round of consultations on the review of the indicative strategy paper (ISP) for the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia

Delegation of the European Union
Skopje, 24 November 2016

On behalf of Mr Nicola BERTOLINI, Head of Cooperation

Dear colleagues and civil society activists

The European Commission is in a process of revising the indicative strategy paper (ISP) for your country outlining the sectors and priorities which will benefit of EU funds for the period 2014-2020. This is a planned exercise in compliance with the IPA II Regulation (Art 6/Reg 231/2014) and aims at ensuring the continuous relevance of the EU funding to the needs and policy development at both EU and country level.

Thank you very much for providing your first comments and proposals on the revision of the ISP following the first round of consultations launched by the EU Delegation on 6 October 2016.

We have taken on-board your written suggestions and are happy to present to your attention a revised draft of the ISP, which is attached to this letter.

We would like also to engage in a discussion on the proposed amendments. For this purpose, the EU Delegation would like to invite you for a public consultation meeting on Wednesday, 30 November 2016, at 10:00 at the EUD premises.

Your support in completing the ISP revision will be highly appreciated. For your information, the adoption of the revised ISP is expected in the summer of 2017.

Yours sincerely
